Global Society of Manjapra or GSM in short form is a Fraternity of neutral people with family roots in Manjapra and Ayyampuzha Panchayaths. The primary objective of this organization is to involve likeminded people to work together for the holistic development of the native land. This society is registered (EKM|TC|328|2023) on 16th June 2023 under Travancore Kochi Sahitya Sasthriya Dharma Sanghagal Registration Act 12th of 1955 with 28 founder members. This organization is a group of people from home and abroad who think neutrally beyond politics and religion. A good percentage of Manjapra's population lives abroad and in other places within India. Many of them are still very much attached to their native land. The organization is named the Global Society of Manjapra because it aims to include them all. At present there are many organizations and clubs in Manjapra, but the intention is to work differently from all of them. The tag line of the club is “Together We Pioneer”.
Indeed, Manjapra Ayyampuzha is very blessed with its natural beauty, availability of amble ground water and better pollution level compared to other regions. It is also a land that has given birth to many eminent persons. But when we look at our neighbouring panchayats or regions, it can be said that there are no institutions or systems worth mentioning in Manjapra. We have full confidence that GSM can work for the betterment of the native land with the co-operation and support of talented personalities working in different fields in our country and abroad.
The purpose of the organization is to strive for the social, cultural, economic, educational, artistic and health improvement of the people. Besides, GSM intend to organize various events for the members and their family on special occasions. At present the hall and office of the “Krishipadasala” located at Manjapra Poithuruthu can be used for the functioning of GSM.
GSM will operate as an independent Society with 100% crowd fund and is open to donations from people, which can be made through bank accounts, allowing transparency and presenting clear figures to the members and its stake holders.
